Duelo entre cariocas e gaúchos vale vaga na terceira fase da competição
Nesta quarta-feira (06), o Fluminense enfrenta o Ypiranga-RS, às 21h30 (de Brasília), no Maracanã. O duelo é válido pela segunda fase da Copa do Brasil 2019. O Tricolor carioca vem jogando um futebol vistoso e bastante elogiado nesse início de temporada, mas chega para a partida com dois tropeços consecutivos. A equipe gaúcha, por sua vez, não conseguiu bons resultados na primeira parte de 2019, já que está apenas na 6ª posição do Grupo B da divisão de acesso do Estadual, tendo conquistado quatro pontos em cinco jogos.
Esse será o terceiro confronto entre Fluminense e Ypiranga-RS na história. Os dois primeiros foram em 2016, justamente pela Copa do Brasil, quando o formato da competição previa jogos de ida e volta. Naquela ocasião, os times ficaram em um surpreendente 1 a 1 no Raulino de Oliveira, mas o clube das Laranjeiras se impôs e venceu a partida de volta por 2 a 0, em Erechim.
Na primeira fase, o Fluminense goleou o River-PI por 5 a 0, enquanto o Ypiranga-RS bateu o Votuporanguense por 1 a 0. No jogo desta noite, quem vencer avança de fase. Caso haja empate, o classificado será decidido nos pênaltis. Vale lembrar que o Luverdense, que derrotou o Figueirense por 1 a 0, espera o time que avançar nesta quarta.
Fluminense
Vindo de dois resultados incômodos – empate com o Antofagasta (CHI) e com o Resende -, o Tricolor terá a volta de Airton – fora no Estadual devido à suspensão dada pelo TJD-RJ pela expulsão na final da Taça Guanabara -, e de Digão – que não jogou na última sexta por ter levado o terceiro amarelo. O lateral-direito Gilberto também retornará após ter sido poupado. A expectativa maior ficar em torno de Ganso, que disputará seu primeiro mata-mata pelo clube das Laranjeiras. Mateus Gonçalves, com caxumba, é desfalque certo para Fernando Diniz.
