Opinião: A contratação de Oswaldo de Oliveira

A noite dessa terça-feira reservou aos torcedores tricolores a iminente surpresa do anúncio de Oswaldo de Oliveira como novo treinador do Fluminense. Essa aquisição, foi e ainda é muito contestada pela torcida tricolor. Porém, farei uma pequena análise dessa contratação e para que o torcedor possa, pelo menos, dar uma chance e confiar no trabalho do novo comandante.

Oswaldo de Oliveira já acumula duas passagens pelo Fluminense(2001 e 2006). Tem 77 jogos, 38 vitórias, 21 empates e 18 derrotas. Levou o time a semifinal do campeonato brasileiro em 2001. Essa será a terceira passagem do técnico pelas Laranjeiras.

Porém, ele não era o plano A da diretoria. Abel Braga, não topou assumir um time no meio de temporada. Dorival, plano B, afirmou ao Netflu estar negociando ainda com um time de fora do país. Oswaldo foi o plano C da diretoria, que acabou acertando. Nomes ainda como Jair Ventura, Thiago Larghi, Maurício Barbieri e Ariel Holan, ex-Independiente foram especulados pela imprensa mas nenhum confirmado pelo clube.

Contudo, o fato de que o Vice Presidente Celso Barros, culpado provável pela demissão de Fernando Diniz e que durante a semana colocou uma enorme pressão no ex-técnico, cobrando vitórias e melhor desempenho, foi alvo de milhões de torcedores, afirmando que o diretor fez as escolhas erradas. Mário Bittencourt no caso, sempre foi a favor da continuidade no trabalho de Diniz, porém, Celso, desde que assumiu, já impôs uma pressão ao ex-comandante.

Infelizmente, o futebol brasileiro ainda é muito fiel ao resultado. O aproveitamento de Diniz era bem ruim, apesar da boa campanha na Sulamericana, talvez não fosse o momento de demiti-lo, mesmo com toda a sua teimosia e fidelidade ao seu modelo de jogo, a diretoria tinha que ter um técnico na manga. Mas não tinha!

É claro que em oito meses, o time evoluiu e muito. Tenho certeza que a maioria dos torcedores são e gratos ao Diniz por tudo o que ele fez, mas a situação dele era muito complicada, o que não fecha as portas para um retorno futuramente.

Oswaldo de Olivera era a melhor opção disponível no mercado? Ao meu ver, não. Porém, dentre as opções restantes, talvez fosse a que mais se encaixava no perfil e nas condições financeiras do clube. O fato de que ele já conhece o local de trabalho, provavelmente pesou para o Fluminense ir buscá-lo. Precisávamos de um técnico mais experiente, com mais bagagem(técnico “cascudo”) para poder pegar esse time tricolor e fazer alguns aprimoramentos ao estilo que o time vem jogando.

Só o tempo dirá se essa contratação foi acertada. Pode ser que dê certo? Sim! Como também pode dar errado. Só que como tudo, o treinador vai precisar do apoio da torcida! Não adianta ficar remoendo o que a diretoria deveria fazer ou deixou de fazer. Já foi feito! A página virou! Agora, é esquecer Fernando Diniz e dar apoio ao Oswaldo de Oliveira, o novo treinador do Fluminense Football Club.
