Felipe Melo e Cris Silva, que não foram relacionados nas últimas partidas por problemas físicos, votaram a treinar normalmente e podem ir para o jogo de hoje. Mas a tendencia é que Diniz mantenha Nonato e Caio Paulista como titulares na equipe para a partida.
Portanto, a provável escalação do Fluminense para o primeiro jogo contra o Cruzeiro é a seguinte: Fábio; Samuel Xavier, Nino, Manoel e Caio Paulista (improvisado na lateral esquerda); André, Nonato e Paulo Henrique Ganso; Luiz Henrique, Jhon Arias e Germán Cano.
